you have some good points regarding the “kids” that might not really know who Ernesto Guevara was etc. Same applies to the “camo” kids. Though i have the feeling that they do use such kind of outfit in order to do a statement (correct or wrong). A Statement to their family, friends...to the society. They probably want to state their believes, habits and what kind of “Label” they are.

From the other side, this is happening in every age and social level. From the Heavy metal funs (dressed all in a similar way) to the Rap “yo-yo” kids..until the bankers. Have you ever noticed that the majority of the bankers are always dressed in a similar way? Yes, i know, they do not have any political symbol/phrase printed on their shirts, but still they want be part of the “Label”.

Finally, I agree with you that these symbols do represent something specific and should not be jeopardized in such a way.
