Does this mean the Chinese are now moving into the, up until now, Nigerian dominated scam email market? If so, they certainly have a long way to go, this one didn’t even come close to tricking me. It does leave me wondering just how many people do read this and say:
“Well, he was respectful, there is no harm in giving him consent to proceed, shouldn’t make a decision without the full details. And have have his email addresses, both of them, just in case.”
Maybe this is a new minimalist approach, the simplicity of which we somehow equate with honesty. Certainly if it was a scam they would have tried harder?
